Central to our Kids Empowered curriculum is helping girls attain the skills within conflict resolution, communication and decision making that will help them on the path in becoming strong, independent, remarkable and resilient young women. Much of our curriculum is devoted to helping girls learn to assert themselves, communicate effectively and realize their potential. A recent article in the Wall Street Journal authored by Sheryl Sandberg and Anna Maria Chavez illustrates just how critical it is for us to collectively nurture these skills in our girls today.
