Today kicks off Women’s History Month and as we have done the last few years, we want to honor the early leaders, change makers, and visionary women who have come before us. Take time this month to talk and reflect with your children about the accomplishments of these women and the impact they have had on our lives. See below for a few books about them to dive into this month!
Now, take a moment to consider – How do we help develop the next generation of visionaries and leaders?
Ask questions that will guide them to find what makes them happy, what they are confident in doing, discovering their passion, and learning what they value. Who are the positive female leaders of today that they look up to? Teaching our children communication and conflict resolution skills such as how to have a conversation, listening and appreciating various perspectives, and reflecting as they go along will be paramount for this generation. Our Leadership and Peer Mentoring Workshops focus on these essential questions and skills. Contact us for further information on these interactive, dynamic workshops!
